Scott Nash is a professor at Mercer University. For eight years, he was the Barney Averitt professor of Christianity and Chairman of the Division of Religious and Philosophical Studies at Brewton-Parker College, Mount Vernon, Georgia. He is a graduate of the Centre College of Kentucky (B.A.,1975) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div., 1978; Ph.D.,1982) and has done additional study at the University of Kentucky, Brown University, and the American School of Classical Studies in Athens, Greece. He has served pastorates in Kentucky and Georgia.
