For 40 years, the Southern Baptist Convention was Grady Cothen's spiritual home. He moved through the ranks of service beginning with the local congregation, the regional association of churches, the state convention bodies, and the national Convention. He served as pastor, state executive secretary, university and seminary president, and finally as president of the Baptist Sunday School Board.
